HONG KONG, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's stocks rallied on Thursday, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index soaring over 3 percent, as tech shares led the gains.

The Hang Seng Index jumped 3.29 percent to close at 24,369.71 points, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index surged 3.57 percent to end at 8,938.09 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Tech Index, which represents the 30 largest technology companies listed in Hong Kong, soared 5.40 percent to close at 6,068.77 points.
