Hong Kong stocks close 1.38 pct higher

HONG KONG, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's stock market rallied on Tuesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 1.38 percent to close at 26,710.45 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index rose 1.05 percent to end at 9,244.24 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index climbed 1.46 percent to end at 5,825.26 points.
