Man rescued from Hong Kong residential area fire

HONG KONG, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Firefighters rescued a man at around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday from the affected area of a major fire at a residential complex in Hong Kong, said the Fire Service Department (FSD).

The fire that broke out at Wang Fuk Court on Wednesday afternoon had left 65 people dead and 70 injured by 8 p.m. on Thursday, according to the FSD.

So far, ten firefighters were injured and one killed in action, the FSD said.
