Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index closes 0.25 pct higher

HONG KONG, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong's stock market ended higher Tuesday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index up 0.25 percent to close at 24,969.68 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index ticked up 0.32 percent to end at 8,916.85 points, while the Hang Seng Tech Index declined 0.38 percent to close at 5,439.16 points.
