Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index opens 2.4 pct higher

HONG KONG, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The Hang Seng Index gained 517.87 points, or 2.4 percent, to open at 22,080.19 points on Wednesday.

The Hang Seng Tech Index, which represents 30 largest technology companies listed in Hong Kong, opened 3.5 percent higher.
